Personal Culture
I have various hobbies, but my favorites are listening to music and dancing. I think because of that I am a very happy person, which loves to smile and joke to make others smile.
Since I was four years old until I was fifteen years old, I danced in the Barranquilla Carnival every year, which made me love and appreciate my city and be a very regionalist person.
The dance also made me a very perfectionist and reflective about decision making, because "if you take a wrong step, you damage all you've accomplished.".
Economic Empowerment For Women
If I had the opportunity, I would lend money to Martha because she has a bit more established business, for this reason she would have more support to assume the arising obligation from the loan.
Her business is recognized and recommended by regular customers, which is a goodreference of business Martha's business.

Kenyan Matatu Drivers
1. How are matatu drivers treated in his experience with the BBC?
They were treated badly, especially by the people in authority in their community as the police. The police were officers very rude and the only thing they wanted was money; bribery is the only alternative matatu drivers have to not be taken to jail.
2. Do Barranquilleros have the same negative opinion of mototaxistas as the Kenyans have of matatu drivers?
In my opinion people in Barranquilla have a bad perception of the people who are mototaxistas. To get started in Barranquilla, people think they are "lazy" so they have an easy job that is mototaxismo.
Second, many people think they are robbers, bad people, they have no manners.
Finally, mototaxistas break a lot of traffic rules.

Afrocolombian
Historically in Colombia and the world have been rejected minorities, although this was evident lot more before the promulgation of the Constitution in 1991, which accepts and includes people who never had a say in decisions of the state. Still it is evidenced how in Colombia these people as Afro-Colombians do not have equal opportunities to work and study as majority, which is unfortunate because we must overcome these barriers and treat everyone with equal.

Carnaval de Barranquilla: A party for everybody
Barranquilla’s carnival is the biggest
cultural expression that we have.
I love every day of this party, but my favourite day is Batalla de
flores because in this day we can admire the creativity in the floats,
folkloric groups ready to entertain the public.
And at night dances in the neighborhoods of the city and the concerts are very
attractive.
Carnival is a mixture of different cultures and that is what I like, that diversity is reflected in every expression of art we see in our carnival.
Tinariwen
1. What do we learn about
Tuareg culture from this video?
I can see from this video of Tuareg culture is
that they feel trapped in the cell of their lives and only want these become
open plain to be free.
2. Keeping in mind what
you learned from this interview, how does seeing the visuals within the video
and knowing the meaning of the lyrics give us a deeper understanding of Tuareg
culture?
Actually, they do express feelings of passion and
anger in their songs and although the rhythm is a bit calm, their lyrics are
very strong and full of their experiences.
Barranquilla - 2013 Cultural Capital
1. Why was Barranquilla chosen?
Barranquilla was chosen because it is a multicultural city, projected internationally, but especially by the charisma and happiness that always characterizes Barranquilla's people.
2. Will Barranquilla receive any of the economic benefits Liverpool hoped to from being named a cultural capital?
Actually, Barranquilla will receive economic benefits since being promoted internationally through agreements with the bureau has channels Antena 3 of Spain and Discovery Networks, this will attract tourists who represent large income.
